RCS comes to St Kew!

28th March 2017
Many congratulations to Class 3 for their amazing performance in the Royal Shakespeare Company's performance of Julius Caesar at Hall for Cornwall on Tuesday!

The performance was part of the RSC's Learning and Performance Network, and gave the children the opportunity to join with 7 other schools across Cornwall to take part in one of Shakespeare's most famous political history plays.

As part of the programme, RSC director Lucy Ellinson came to St Kew to run a workshop with our budding thespians, before directing them in a full day workshop with all of the other schools at Launceston College, and then again at Hall for Cornwall performance.

All of the Class 3 children were a real credit to the school, both in their commitment to learning their parts and in their behaviour throughout the long rehearsal and performance days.

And the best part? Two children from each school now get selected to go to Stratford-Upon-Avon and perform again at the Rose Theatre with the RSC! Watch this space for announcements after Easter!
