Music Lessons

Music is an important part of school life here at St Kew.

There are many opportunities for children to enjoy and partake in music, from the Christmas concert and Nativity Play to Easter and Harvest Festival Assemblies in the local church.

All children receive weekly music lessons in their classes, and there is a lunchtime school choir club. The school take part in the annual Wadebridge Speech and Music Festival.

Recently the school choir took part in an event at Truro Cathedral, working with one of their professional choristers for 6 weeks to learn and perform 3 pieces at the Cathedral. To listen to them sing please click on the link below.

Music tuition is provided through Cornwall Music Education Hub, who come to the school to teach guitar, electric guitar, keyboard, recorder, flute, clarinet and drums weekly. If your child would like to start music lessons, please see the school secretary.
