The children and staff at St Kew School celebrated the end of term with a Where's Wally themed book day and end of term showcase for parents and carers.
As well as an Easter egg hunt and a Where's Wally competition (well done to Rebecca, Sarah and Kate who all won Where's Wally books for successfully finding the Where's Wally character hidden in the school grounds), the children also enjoyed a book based treasure hunt, learnt about the Easter Bingo challenge and paired up to enjoy book buddy reading sessions.
In the afternoon, parents and carers were invited to the end of term celebration assembly to watch the children receive their homework project certificates before having a chance to tour the classrooms and see the homework and topics activities that the children have been doing in class.
They were also treated to a rendition of Class 3's amazing scene from Julius Caesar that they performed at Hall for Cornwall on Tuesday night as part of the Royal Shakespeare Company's regional Shakespeare festival.
Finally, Class 2 also showcased the stories and artwork that they have been developing with professional storytellers and artists for the Mazed project, which captures traditional Cornish tales. These have recently been on display at Bude Castle Museum.
Well done to all the children for all of their hard work this term, and thank you to all the teachers for their tireless efforts in ensuring that hey have so many amazing opportunities!
Happy Easter and see you all next term!
