The event was organised by St Kew ACE Academy and the Eden Project and involved parents and children commenting on the initial designs for the pre-school outside space. They were also able to talk to staff about the proposed curriculum which will see children spending most of their time outside interacting with nature and learning through nature play.
Parents and their children came from St Kew, Wadebridge and the surrounding villages and enjoyed exploring the outdoor activities some of which took part in the roundhouse, poly-tunnel, wild areas and willow structure. There were a variety of fun activities to keep the children smiling all morning, many of the children went home pretty tired but having had a wonderful day planting, exploring, painting, making crowns, cooking on the fire and getting muddy! Here are some of the photos that we took to record the event.
